Bilingualism in your setting

Practitioners have a responsibility to support bilingual children’s language development regardless of if they are working in a bilingual daycare. Children who speak two or more languages should be supported and have access to the same opportunities as their peers on a daily basis.

If you have children within your setting, who are learning to or can speak more than one language and/or practitioners who do not share the same language as the children, you will need to use strategies in the setting to support children’s learning and development. This seminar is created to offer information, tools and resources to help you support these children’s individual needs.

At the end of this 2-hour course you will receive a certificate of attendance.
